You may have noticed the red Canna flowers at my home at 3034 Brookwood Road last summer. Hummingbirds love these red Canna blooms, so I was able to spot them visiting every day. I harvested the bulbs last autumn and have been drying them in my basement. Now that it’s time to plant them again, would you be interested in planting some in your own backyard? They are wonderful plants that grow very well—simply plant them, and they thrive; plus, deer won't touch them. This Sunday, between 9:00 AM and 12:00 PM, I will place the Canna bulbs on a table in front of the house at 3034 Brookwood Road. Please feel free to take as many as you need. Rain is expected tomorrow (Sunday) morning. As soon as the rain stops (around 11 AM or later), I will place the bulbs in plastic bags on the table in my driveway at 3034 Brookwood Road.

Please feel free to take as many as you need. They are completely free! These flowers are wonderful because they attract hummingbirds, so you’ll be able to enjoy seeing them every day.
